The Enterprise version of the Marietta PDE
™ software is licensed on a per-Palm OS®
unit basis. One
license is required for each Palm OS unit installed with PDE.
The Enterprise version is required when using
communications software other than Palm's standard HotSync product, such
as Aether's Scout Server, Synchrologic's iMobile, our RF-TP product, or when using a customized communications solution.

This version has a number of extensions over

 | Support is provided for custom plug-ins on the Palm OS®
units and for DLL support on PDE's HotSync conduit. |
| Two Palm OS programs are provided, with and without PDE's Design
Wizard activated. This allows you to deploy applications without
allowing the users to modify your design. |
| Data received from several Palm OS units is automatically
consolidated into a common set of data collection files. |
| Reference files sent to the Palm OS units can be specific to a unit
or shared by all units. This allows, for example, for customer
files specific to each salesperson while using a common item file. |
| PDE can be set to automatically invoke HotSync,
Scout Sync, iMobile, or RF-TP on the single tap of a [Send] button within the
application. |
| The RF-TP Client program is included
with each Enterprise runtime license at no additional charge. |

The RF-TP™ Host
software is licensed on a per-PC basis. One license is
required for each PC where the RF-TP
™ Host is installed.
The standard version supports 32 concurrent TCP/IP connections, running
on almost all 32 bit Microsoft Windows operating systems. Pricing
for other versions, and for bulk licenses is available on request.
Note: The RF-TP Client program is
included with each PDE Enterprise runtime license at no additional charge. |
